Climate Psychology

This design is part of the student learning experience in 87832 Design Practice Spring 2023 in the Faculty of Design Architecture and Built Environment (DAB) University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and is not a professional design outcome. This project was developed under the guidance of studio leaders and demonstrators.

As a response to a notional assessment brief, it is not directly connected to the Powerhouse Museum.

The notional brief was to create a set of social media pointers which interpret and translate key ideas, quotations and data from the 100 Climate Conversations project into information visualisations.

The purpose is to encourage more engagement from a younger demographic with a tone of voice, graphic language and format that appeals to this audience while still being appropriate for the Powerhouse Museum's broader branding and audience.

I chose to represent Susie Burke's conversation about Climate Psychology because I found the information to be relevant and vital for a climate concious and eco-anxious youth.

I’d like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live, the Cammeraygal people. I pay my respect to Elders past, present and emerging, as well as to any Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples who may be visiting this site. Sovereingty was never ceded.
